Office IT support internship

purpose

You will be part of the IT team and you will fully participate in the daily activities of the team. You will assist with the operation and support of office computers, network and audio-visual systems in citizenM offices and, where required, citizenM hotels; and you will keep on learning along the way; all while having fun doing this!

The team’s primary activity is to support the users in the support office and to help fixing issues related to computers, printers, network or telephone. The primary contacts of the Office IT Support are all citizenM employees located in citizenM Support Office.

key responsibilities

  • how to answer questions or resolve computer problems for citizenM employees or guest in person, via telephone or from remote location
  • monitoring the status of the Office IT hardware through our Device Management Tooling and take action.
  • creating and maintaining an inventory of all IT assets
  • setting up IT tooling and adding knowledge articles
  • the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office software, electronic mail and operating systems
  • the use of installed audio-visual and conferencing system hardware
  • installing hardware and software for citizenM employees
  • user access management

  • knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems from Microsoft, Google and other principal providers
  • team player

locations / hours

  • This position will be based in Voorschoten, the Netherlands. Working hours: MON – FRI (9:00 – 17:30) if required, hours may vary. Please note, that to be eligible for an internship at citizenM, you must be enrolled in a study program as a student during this period. The internship is for at least 5 or 6 months and suits the purposes of a learning experience.
