How will you change the world at Quicargo?

As a Sales Intern, you will be supporting the commercial side of our organization, you will sometimes be the first person possible clients are in contact with! The tasks range from closing sales and preparing deals to being the main point of contact between customers and Quicargo. This role is vital for a fast growing start up and will allow the ideal candidate to learn about effective sales tactics and professional communication.

As a Sales Intern, you will be generally responsible for calling, understanding, and researching accounts and identifying key players. For this it is important that you are able to understand the needs of different customers/carriers, but that you are also aware of business and commercial needs. You will learn how to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails. On top of that, you will support our Sales team when making proposals and you will make sure everything is registered in the correct way. You will be working with all teams and gain a deeper understanding of how you can successfully develop sustainable relationships with potential customers.

Do your skills and background fit our requirements?

  • Currently studying at university (HBO/WO level);

  • You speak Dutch at a native level;

  • Full Time available approximately for 6 months

  • Comfortable making dozens of phone calls per day;

  • Ability to communicate with different kinds of stakeholders and transform this into specific business outcomes;

  • Ability to jump in the deep end, learn quickly and be proactive;

  • Excellent organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment;

  • An ability to manage deadlines, your workload and the expectations of clients, colleagues and suppliers;

  • Self-motivated, driven, and engaging.
