Financial treasury analyst intern

Your Mission Should you Choose to accept it…

As a Treasury department intern, you will play a very important role in the day-to-day business operation of The Social Hub, including the hotels, restaurants and TSH Collab locations. You will be part of the Northern Europe finance team that is responsible for accounting and control of all TSH locations, within Northern Europe. Your main focus will be to assist the finance team with day to day operations. You will be joining the Finance Team in our Amsterdam Hub for at least 6 months starting in September 2023.

What You’ll Do

You will be assisting the Treasury team in a variety of responsibilities, meaning you will:

• Support on recurring internal funding requests
• Reconcile bank transaction daily
• Control bank balances
• Follow-up construction projects with different stakeholders
• Assists the Treasury Manager and Analyst in ad-hoc request
• Reconcile and follow-up on interests, bank commissions and bank notices bookings
• Assists making Bi-weekly manual payments and upload of payment batches
• Control of the different payment requests
• Prepare and submit utilization requests for bank loans
• Help to develop the new Treasury Management System

Who You Are

• Must be an enrolled student, preferably studying finance, economics, business or hospitality industry
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• You have strong Microsoft Office skills
• You’re an excel master
• You know how to make your colleagues laugh even after picking up on their own mistakes – there shall be no awkward beer drinking here!
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High proficiency in English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage, ideally Spanish, Italian or Dutch!
• You’re legally allowed to work in the Netherlands or in Spain
